What is PRIME Time? Each day from 7:50 am - 8:30 am, students are engaged in literacy-based activities. During this time, teachers work with small groups of students on identified areas to increase their phonemic awareness and/or build their comprehension skills. While the classroom structure will be different, you will notice students reading and/or writing during PRIME Time. To protect this time, students who arrive after PRIME Time begins, report directly to the technology lab. In the technology lab, Mrs. McCall, will supervise the students as they read independently or complete SuccessMaker activities. It is our hope that students will arrive to school on time to be engaged in the literary activities prepared to meet their instructional needs in their classrooml If you have any questions about PRIME Time, please contact Mr. Cohens. |
