Nestled near the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens, Waccamaw Middle School opened its classrooms to students in the Fall of 2001. The building was designed to blend in with the natural surroundings and incorporates the use of as much natural light as possible. Currently, WMS serves approximately 350 students in grades seventh and eighth. At Waccamaw, our mission is to provide challenging educational opportunities that prepare all students to be responsible citizens and lifelong learners. We strongly encourage parents to be involved in their child's education. A great deal can be accomplished if we all work together to enhance learning.
